PBC Gallery Green-winged Teal Anas carolinensis, Dogsthorpe Star Pit, 26-29 October 2003 Pictures by Steve Dudley and Phil Todd |
Now annual in the PBC area, this one was found by Kevin Durose and is the first autumn record. It may have been around since early October when an eclipse male Teal was showing a white fleck in the area of the vertical stripe. Previous birds have been found in early spring.
