This bird flew into a house window in Orton Waterville and was stunned but quickly recovered to fly off. At one point it was perching on Andy's hand! It may have been commuting between Ferry Meadows and the Hamptons or Orton Brick Pit as there is little other water nearby. Although hard to see in these pictures the lower mandible has a substantial amount of orange indicating that this is a female and the red feet mean it is an adult (young birds have black feet).
