PBC Gallery Mandarins Aix galericulata, Ferry Meadows Country Park, 2 September 2003 Pictures by Brian Stone

These were part of a tight-knit group of 5 birds, possibly a family party as at least one appears to be an eclipse male. Otherwise these are very difficult to age/sex. They were gathered on the scrape near the Ian Presst hide.
