26 Ferry Meadows Country Park A flock of 25+ Lesser Redpoll, very flighty, mainly between Bluebell Bridge and the remaining hide, c.15 Chiffchaff, c.20 Reed Buntings and a male and a female Sparrowhawk over wader scrapes. Charles Harvey

13 Ferry Meadows Country Park & Bluebell Wood A Tawny Owl being mobbed by all and sundry in Bluebell Wood, 1 Lesser Redpoll there too. 1 Redshank on the floods, 2 Bullfinches, 1 Kingfisher and an assortment of wildfowl including 6 Gadwall, 28 Teal and 3 Shoveler. Gordon Hamlett
  Dogsthorpe Star Pit A pair of Great-crested Grebes, trilling Little Grebe, a pair of Pochard, Green Woodpecker and 2 Bullfinch Richard Broughton

24 Feb- 6 Mar Deeping High Bank A male Red-breasted Merganser Red-breasted Merganser which is associating with a flock of Goosander on the river Welland, half a mile down stream from the Crowland water-tower.   Baston Pits The ’usual’ flock of Red-crested Pochard on the pit north of the Long Pit.  
1 Ferry Meadows Country Park & Bluebell Wood 3 female and 1 male Siskin plus 1 female Redpoll in flock of about 15 Goldfinches in alders near Bluebell Bridge, also two Nuthatch, two Treecreeper, Male and Female Bullfinch and a female Sparrowhawk.
