Flew in quite high from the west over the lake to land in reeds at the far western end of the rough area west of the lake at 16:35. Also a Woodcock flew east along the bank a little later. 1 Water Rail calling from western end of Lord's Holt, 43 Bewick's and 2 Whoopers Swan on the reserve with more heard arriving after dark, 1 Black Swan, 1 ringtail Hen Harrier (probably adult female), 1 female Sparrowhawk, 1 male Stonechat, Tawny and Barn Owl calling.
