12-13 GPOG 24 hour birdrace 3 teams of 4 birders competed in this annual event. This generated many records and a report will be published in due course. Below are some of the highlights of the weekend.  
  Baston & Langtoft GP 1 Cuckoo calling, Ringed Plover, Little Ringed Plover, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Yellow Wagtail, 2 Oystercatcher, 3 Shelduck, 1 Redshank, 5 Red Crested Pochard, 1 Black Tern and a male Wigeon. Birdrace Teams and other observers
  Bainton Pits Many Nightingale, Common Tern, Garden Warbler, Turtle Dove and many more.  
  Welland Bank Pits 1 Grey Plover, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Little Gull.  
  Baston Fen Barn Owl and 3 Spotted Redshank.  
  Nene Washes 2 Avocet, 1 Spotted Redshank, several Garganey, Arctic Tern, Black Tern, 7 Grey Plover, 1 Turnstone, Dunlin, Greenshank, 1 Whooper Swan, 2 Spotted Crake, Kingfisher, 2 Grey Partridge.
