2001	Rare passage migrant. Northerly gales in mid-September drove a number of birds inland with three juveniles over the Nene Washes on the 18th (JT) with another over there next day (JT). One reported flying along the A1 north of Stamford on 19th (AC) may have arrived along the Welland valley, or may have been using the A1 as a flight corridor, having joined it further south.
2000	Vagrant. One seen heading west at the Petrol Dump Pit, Farcet Fen, at dawn on 1 Nov (AL).
1999	Vagrant. One over Woodwalton Fen NNR on 26 Dec (CBR).
