A similar series of records to 2002 and 2001, with 1-4 birds recorded at Baston & Langtoft GP, Drysides BP, Ferry Meadows CP, Grummit’s Scrape, Maxey GP, Prior’s Fen GP and Deeping Lakes NR.

2002
Escape.
Between 1-4 birds recorded with the
Greylag and Canada Goose flocks throughout the year from Bainton GP, Maxey GP, Deeping Lakes NR, Deeping High Bank, Baston & Langtoft GP, Ferry Meadows CP, Nene Washes and Prior’s Fen GP. A possible hybrid bird was seen at Prior’s Fen GP 4 Oct (BHS).

2001
Escape.
Between 1-4 birds recorded with the Greylag and Canada Goose flocks between 25 Feb and 3 Nov from
Deeping Lakes NR, Deeping High Bank, Baston & Langtoft GP, Ferry Meadows CP, Nene Washes and Prior’s Fen GP.

2000
Escape.
Reported in small numbers in association with Greylag flocks at Baston & Langtoft GP, Deeping Lakes NR and Orton BP.

1999
Escape.
Two reported from Ferry Meadows CP on 3 Apr and three pairs there, one with young on 23 Jul. A single was at Crown Lakes CP on 7 Apr and a pair occasionally at Eye Green.

1998
Escape.
Two birds were at
Ferry Meadows CP on 7 Apr (GRH) and single birds were variously seen at Bainton GP (18 Jan, 8 Feb and 8 Aug), Eye Green (21 Jan) and Baston & Langtoft GP on 31 Jul.
