2001
Rare passage migrant.
Single records of this somewhat exotic goose were noted at Stamford Meadows 25 Feb and 8 Mar, Orton Staunch 10 Mar and Ferry Meadows CP 2 Apr, and probably related to one wandering bird (RB, CW, CS, CHa). It appeared to miss linking up with a group of three on the Nene Washes (Eldernell) 28 Mar (RSPB). An unseasonal record of one at Fletton BP on 28 Dec (BHS, SPD).

Nene Washes: Two were on the reserve on 6 Aug.
