2003
Rare passage migrant.
In spring, a male was at Eldernell on 15 Apr, with a second bird at Lord’s Holt the following day (JT, SPD). A male and female were recorded in a Yarwell sheep pasture on 21 Apr. A male was present at Eldernell again on 5 May (CM). A single autumn record was of a late bird at Hampton on 26 Oct (KD).

2002
Rare passage migrant.
Three records this year. A male was found on the scrubby slopes of King’s Dyke NR on the evening of 11 May by one of the GPOG bird race teams (RT et al). Fortunately, it was present into the next day when the other teams were able to catch up with it! Another male was at Swaddywell Pit from 19-20 Apr (MLB) and a female was at Folksworth from 5-7 May (ARF, RJJ).

2001

2000
Rare migrant.
A male at Caldecote proved obliging for numerous observers during its stay from 21-26 Apr (ARF, NC et al)
. This record follows remarkably closely the occurrence of a bird in 1999 at the same location around the same dates. Another was at Conington airfield on 29 Apr (NC).

1999
Rare migrant.
A male was found in Bluebell Wood on 25 Mar (RD). Another male was at Caldecote on 24 Apr (NC, ARF), the bird remaining in the area for a number of days. Another was at the Nene Washes on 2 May (CBR).

1998
Rare migrant.
One was at Ben Johnson Pit on 12 Apr (CBR). A male was at Ferry Meadows CP on 17 Apr and 20 Apr (RAH, DG).
Nene Washes: Two arrived with an influx of thrushes at Eldernell on 6 Oct.
