2000	Rare visitor. A single over the Nene Washes RSPB reserve 2 Jul (CK). A juvenile flew west over Orton Longueville 8 Sep, with another there 1 Nov (SPD). Although some escapes may still occur, most local records are thought to originate from large feral flocks in south-east England and perhaps smaller populations in the Midlands.
