1995	"Golden Pheasant was added to the British list in 1970. It was introduced into Northamptonshire in 1976 at Glapthorn Cow Pasture and a small population was present until 1995. This sedentary species is unlikely to recolonise because the other British populations are some distance away and are not expanding." - Northamptonshire Wildlife.
