Scarce passage migrant, former breeder.
Just three records: a male on 17 Apr at Woodston (SPD) and two autumn records, the first at Marholm on 13 Sep (CSh), with a female the following day at Deeping Lakes NR (KD).

2002
Scarce passage migrant, former breeder
Just two records of this scarce visitor to the area: a female on 22 Sep at Baston Fen NR (JR), and a first-winter female near the Decoy at Eldernell on 24 Sep (CK).

2001
Scarce passage migrant, former breeder.
A female or immature with Spotted Flycatchers at Ferry Meadows CP 7-8 Sep (MJW et al) was the only record.

2000
Rare migrant.
Spring records came from
Bainton GP on 11 Apr, High Wash on 17 Apr and Bassenhally on 18 Apr - all males. Autumn birds were at Ferry Meadows CP on 19 Aug, Bainton GP on 20 Aug, at King's Dyke and Woodwalton Fen NNR (CBR) on 10 Sep, and in Peterborough on 25 Sep (CBR).

1999
Rare migrant.
One was at
Ferry Meadows CP on 15 Apr (CBR).

1998
Rare migrant.
A male was at
Ferry Meadows CP on 27 Apr (RAH, DG).
Nene Washes:
A male was along the tideline at Eldernell on 16 Apr. One was by the office in Whittlesey on 11 Aug.
