Common resident breeder. Reported during most months during 2003, with peak counts of 29 at Woodwalton Fen NNR on 31 Mar (SG) and 28 on 17 Mar at Southey Wood (GRH). The first record of fledgling birds was from Farcet Fen on 2 May (SPD). |

Common resident breeder. Though this species must have visited every garden in the recording area, observations were reported from only around 30 sites. Breeding records received from Elton, Orton Longueville and Ramsey. An influx occurred around 28 Sep with a minimum of 19 counted at Morborne Hill, many of them in song (SPD). |

Common resident breeder. A very common species and familiar garden visitor. Reported from only seven sites: seven at Orton Mere 1 Jan (GRH), up to six singing at Morborne Hill on 10 Sep (BHS), four at Ferry Meadows CP and a pair breeding in a Dogsthorpe garden (DW). At least one territory at Eldernell Pits. Up to four birds used the Eldernell Pits feeding station in Jan. |

resident. Up to ten were present throughout the year at Orton BP, with a 'fall' noted there on 20 Oct (CBR). At Orton Waterville one pair had flying young by 19 Apr. |

Common resident. Several birds were heard singing during the eclipse in Peterborough Central Park on 11 Aug (BHS) and four territories were found at Eldernell Pits. |

Common resident. Widespread. Nene Washes: Eldernell Pits held three territories, compared with one last year. Highest wash counts were of seven (15 Feb), six (11 Oct) and nine (8 Nov), mostly occurring at Eldernell Pits or the counter drain. |
