2003	Scarce passage migrant. All records were of singles, with birds at Prior’s Fen GP on 25 Jun (MW) and 11 Aug (KD). One was at Deeping Lakes NR on 19 Jul (MW). Single birds were seen on the Nene Washes (High Wash) on four occasions between 12-25 Aug (BHS, SPD, KAF).
2002	Scarce passage migrant. On the Nene Washes, two birds present on 16 May (RSPB) with singles present on 17 May (JT) and 21 May (GW). Two at Prior’s Fen GP on 18 May with a single there on 21 May (both GW). Single birds were at Ferry Meadows CP on 20 Jun (DG, MJW) with up to three birds present between 31 Jul and 1 Aug (MW, MJW, DG). A single bird was on private land at Eye on 3 Aug with a single at Tanholt GP on the same day (both GW). At Deeping Lakes NR, a well-watched individual was present between 3-6 Aug (WB et al). 2001	Scarce passage migrant. An excellent year for this elegant wader. The only spring record was one on the Nene Washes (High Wash) 10-12 May (CK/RSPB). In autumn, two at Deeping Lakes NR 21 Jul (AD) with one to 26th (TW), and two birds on the Nene Washes 9 Aug with one to 10th (RSPB). A juvenile took up residence at Prior’s Fen GP from 8-15 Sep (SPD, BHS et al) and there were three birds at Ferry Meadows CP 9 Sep (MTu).
2000	Scarce migrant. The Nene Washes had three 2 May, one 5 May, four 7 May, ten 8 May, two 9 May, five 11 May, four 12 May, three 13 May and one on 14 May. In July, singles there 22nd-25th, 31st, at Dog-in-a-Doublet 30 Jul, 1 Aug and at Eldernell 30 Jul. A single at Baston & Langtoft GP 29-31 Jul and 2 Aug and one at Swaddywell Pit on 12 Aug. Singles were noted at the washes again on 10 Aug, 23 Aug and the last on 25 Sep.
1999	Scarce migrant. Singles were at the Nene Washes 3-5 May and 15 Jun, with three present 6 May. Return passage commenced with a single bird at Baston & Langtoft GP 26 Jul (DP) and a juvenile there 3 Aug (TW). A single bird was at the Nene Washes 8 Aug.
1998	Rare migrant. A juvenile bird at Baston & Langtoft GP from 30 Aug-6 Sep (TW). Nene Washes: Two were noted on 9th and 12 May, with three on 13th, five on 15th and one on 18th. In autumn, there were three on 10 Aug and one on 6 Sep.
