2003	Rare passage and winter migrant. Three birds were recorded this year. One was unusually showy on the Nene Washes at Lord’s Holt from 3-7 Jan (JT et al). An adult female was trapped and ringed at Bainton GP on 19 Jul (CHu). An autumn bird was recorded on the Nene Washes on 27-28 Oct and one was heard calling on 8 Dec (RSPB).

1999	Rare migrant and winter visitor. A calling bird at Orton BP from 1-8 Apr (GW) was the only record.
1998	Rare migrant. Nene Washes: One called in the reserve reedfen on 13 Jan.
